The Forum work to improve the area for the benefit of the whole community. We formed in 2013, currently have around 50 members and are led by a small committee. Our objectives are, in summary, to work together with residents, councils, businesses and other organisations to achieve real and sustainable improvements to life in West Bay. At the same time we wish to protect West Bay’s natural and built environment.

Some of the things we have achieved to date …

  • Removal of the unpopular pinch-point at the roundabout that caused traffic congestion on the road in and out of West Bay.
  • Organised regular beach-cleans on West Bay beaches
  • Planted and maintained flower beds at West Bay Railway Station
  • Facilitated the planting of trees and daffodils adjacent to West Bay Road car park
